Inspiration for the design of our Gumnut Fairies has been drawn from many of Australia’s iconic flora and fauna. The colours of pink and yellow, plus the style of the fairy skirts, were inspired from flowering gum trees. Gumnuts feature as their hats, and one is holding a “golden wattle blossom” wand. Australian wildlife is incorporated with two of the designs, featuring a Ulysses Butterfly and a Bilby together with the Gumnut Fairies.
